Meet Coach Chris Prophete 🥍

Coach Chris Prophete is stepping into his first season as the Varsity Lacrosse Head Coach for Framingham High School, bringing a wealth of experience and passion to the Flyers community.

Born and raised in Waltham, MA, Coach Prophete brings a wealth of experience and passion for the game to the Flyers community.

As a standout athlete at Waltham High School, Chris played under the legendary Coach Steve Duffy and was part of the Hawks’ 2005 State Championship Team. He went on to play collegiate lacrosse at Mount Ida College, where he was a four-year starter, earned All-Conference honors, was named Team Offensive Player of the Year in 2009, and contributed to three College Conference Championships and NCAA Final Four appearances. Notably, Chris was the first player in Mount Ida history to be selected for the National Division 3 College All-Star Game, where he served as Captain.

Following his playing career, which included competing for roster spots with several Major League Lacrosse teams, Coach Prophete founded Elite Lacrosse Training, a skill development and athletic training program for youth, high school, and college players. This venture ignited his passion for coaching, leading him to serve as Offensive Coordinator at Waltham High School, Medford High School, and eventually Northeastern University’s Men’s Lacrosse Team.

In 2017, Chris moved to Framingham, where he now resides with his wife Suzanne, son Christopher, and their cat Kenzie. A dedicated member of the local football, basketball, and lacrosse communities, Coach Prophete is thrilled to lead the Flyers and looks forward to fostering a positive team culture while helping every student-athlete achieve their full potential.
